Glebe House is a privately owned nursing & residential home.

The Home is registered with The Scottish Commission For The Regulation of Care, Glebe House has a wing dedicated to residents with Brain releated injuries.

The unit can cater for up to 9 people in single rooms which are bright and spacious and have ensuite facilities.

All areas are accessible by wheelchair and the unit is on one level.

the unit has its own lounge and dining area with separate provision for smokers.

Glebe House has been the focus of an ongoing refurbishment programme. All rooms are pleasantly furnished and clients are able to bring personal effects to enhance the individuality of rooms.

24 hour nursing care is available from staff experienced in working with young physically disabled both in residential and community settings. The needs of clients with chanllenging behaviour can also be catered for as well as physical health needs.

The nursing staff are supported by experienced care staff, the majority of whom are holders of the SVQ in care. Counselling services and massage therapy are also available to clients.

Medical care is supplied by the local GP practice who hold regular surgeries within the unit. GP's are also available should any clients health give cause for concern. A full range of of healthcare services are provided such as chirpody, dental and ophthalmic care.
