Doonbank House is a 37 bedded nursing and residential home.

The Home is registered with SCIWIS For The Regulation of Care, for Elderly Long Stay, elderly with Mental Impairment, Short Stay, Convalescent, Respite, terminally Ill, Young Chronic sick and Day Care. We are also registered for Residential Clients, with the majority of our Clients coming from Ayrshire.

The accommodation at Doonbank comprises 35 single rooms and one companion bedroom. these are all on the ground floor in two purpose built wings. All of our bedrooms have ensuite facilities as a result of a recent major refurbishment. The rooms are bright, spacious and pleasantly furnished, with open outlooks over well maintained gardens. All have television points.

Residents are encouraged to bring personal effects to create a more homely atmosphere. There is a small, secluded lounge, one large television lounge and a spacious dining room. There is also a separate room for residents who wish to smoke.
