Glenesk House Nursing Home aims to provide a caring environment, which has a safe yet warm and homely atmosphere in which the residents can continue to, lead as normal life as possible; and where we will try to enhance their quality of life. We will encourage them to live their lives to their fullest individual ability, helping them to remain as independent as their circumstances allow.
Glenesk is the resident's home in which they should be given the respect to allow them to lead a private and dignified life to the full, participating in the normal activities of daily living as they choose to.
We aim to help each resident feel very much at home here at Glenesk. Both residents and their families will be encouraged to build up and maintain a caring, friendly relationship with all members of staff. We will meet both physical and emotional care needs by compiling care plans especially for each individual following discussion with the resident, their families and other professional services, as the residents permit. We will also encourage them, as far as their abilities allow, being fully as independent as possible. External professional services will be made available to all residents registered with the NHS on recommendations of their GP's. We also encourage and welcome discussions and suggestions warmly and openly in respect of the individuals care. We hope we can provide the highest standard of care that each resident rightly diserves.
Glenesk House Nursing Home aims to provide each resident the individual choice to participate in the local community. We also encourage and elcome the local communities to participate in events and social functions held at Glenesk.
